Anxiety-focused counselling for Adults in Ireland

A confidential, supportive space to explore anxiety, overthinking, panic symptoms, and emotional exhaustion at your own pace. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

I work with adults to gently understand what may be contributing to anxiety and to find ways of coping that feel manageable and supportive.

You may be living with anxiety if…

You may find yourself constantly worrying, feeling on edge, or unable to switch your thoughts off. Anxiety can show up as racing thoughts, physical tension, panic symptoms, irritability, exhaustion, or a sense that you are always “bracing” for something to go wrong. Even when things appear fine on the outside, anxiety can quietly take up a lot of space internally.

Counselling offers a space to slow this down and begin to understand what your anxiety is trying to communicate. You are not alone in experiencing this.

How counselling can help

Counselling provides a confidential, non-judgemental space to explore what is happening beneath anxiety. Rather than trying to get rid of symptoms, the work focuses on understanding patterns, emotional responses, and the underlying pressures that may be contributing to anxiety. Over time, this can support greater emotional awareness, steadiness, and the ability to respond differently to anxious thoughts and feelings.

The pace of counselling is guided by you, with care taken to create a sense of safety and containment throughout the process.
